Let me tell you something about me, Internet. I absolutely love things that are beautifully terrible. For example, I adore bad educational films, like the types you find at museums that have been inexpertly transferred from VHS to DVD. These things were usually produced on video in the 80s, and they they are magical in how awful they are. The best ones are the ones meant for children.
So, when you think “Sherlock Holmes”, do you think “water conservation”? No? WELL THEN you wouldn’t have written and animated this sparkling diamond, THE GUZZLER GANG, which features an…unusual Sherlock Holmes, a talking dog in drag make-up, and anthropomorphic household appliances.
I haven’t been able to find much info on this gem, but I can tell you that June Foray provided one of the voices. Oh god, June. I’m so sorry.
(EDIT: The reason the images are so low quality is that they’re cell-phone photos. I’m going to go back to this place when I can, and try to take higher quality photos, possibly even record the film.)

Hayao Miyazaki:
“I try to dig deep into the well of my subconscious. At a certain moment in that process, the lid is opened and very different ideas and visions are liberated. With those I can start making a film.”
