Anthony Whishaw: 'Edge of Perception'
Edge of Perception is an exhibition I visited at the RA in London. The artist who painted these landscape depictions is Anthony Whishaw. These paintings clearly follow the same ideas as landscapes by Cezanne or photography by Uta Barth. I am inspired by the linear mark making within this drawing, used to create sense of the figures ‘emerging’ from the environment.
